Going to the Mall is the Best!
The mall is my favorite place in the whole wide world! There's just so much fun stuff to do and see there. Whenever my mom says we're going to the mall, I get super excited and can hardly wait.
First of all, the mall has the most amazing toy stores. There's the big Toys R Us with every toy you can imagine - video games, Lego sets, stuffed animals, action figures, you name it! I love walking up and down the aisles, looking at all the cool toys and making my wish list for my next birthday or Christmas. The best part is the huge Barbie section with every Barbie doll and Barbie house and Barbie car you could ever want. It's like total Barbie heaven!
My favorite store though is the Disney Store. It's full of all the newest Disney movies and shows and characters. They have the cutest plush toys of Mickey, Minnie, Elsa, Anna, Buzz Lightyear and so many more. And the dress-up clothes are just magical - you can get Elsa's sparkly blue dress or a Prince Charming outfit. Sometimes they even have the real costumes that the characters wear at Disney World! And of course they have all the latest
Disney movies and shows on DVD and Blu-ray. We never leave the Disney Store without at least one new toy or movie. But the mall isn't just about toys - there are so many awesome stores for clothes too. My mom's favorite is the Gap because she says their clothes are good quality and don't go out of style too fast. I like Justice and Claire's personally. Justice has the cutest outfits with the latest styles and bright, fun colors and designs. And Claire's is the ultimate place for accessories - hair clips, headbands, jewelry, you name it. I could spend hours just looking at all the sparkly treasures in there! Sometimes I convince my mom to get my ears pierced again just so I can get new earrings from Claire's.
Of course, no trip to the mall is complete without a stop at the food court for some tasty snacks. There are so many good choices - McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, Auntie Anne's pretzels, and my personal favorite, Wetzel's Pretzels. Their pretzels are golden brown and piping hot, and you can get them with
So.Many.Toppings! My favorite is a cinnamon sugar pretzel nugget covered in smooth vanilla cream cheese frosting. It's sweet, salty, warm, and oh so delicious! Just thinking about it is making me hungry.
After we're done shopping and snacking, sometimes we'll stop at the arcade or play area at the mall. Most malls have a fun indoor playground area with slides and tunnels and climbing structures. It's a great way to get out some energy after being cooped up shopping all day. And the arcade always has the latest video games and games where you can win tickets and redeem them for prizes. Skee-ball is my game - I'm a total skee-ball wizard!
As you can probably tell, I absolutely love going to the mall. It's pretty much my ideal way to spend a day. There's just something for everyone there - toys, clothes, food, and
entertainment. My mom calls it \"the heart of consumerism\" and gets overwhelmed by all the choices. But for a kid like me, that's what makes it the best! No matter how many times I go, I always look forward to the next mall adventure. The mall is amazing!
