摘要：A content transfer system composed of a content reproduction terminal (1) andan information processing apparatus (2) is disclosed. A storage section (62) stores
information representing a file format and a bit rate of content reproducible by thereproduction terminal (1). A transmission section (61) transmits the information stored inthe storage section (62) to the information processing apparatus (2). An obtainmentsection (42) obtains the information representing the file format and the bit rate of thecontent reproducible by the reproduction terminal (1) therefrom. A conversion section(47) converts content having a predetermined file format and a predetermined bit rate asa transfer target into content having the file format and the bit rate represented by theinformation obtained by the obtainment section (42). A transfer section (50) transfers thecontent converted by the conversion section (47) to the reproduction terminal 1.
