Because Xu Datong thinks John is the best lawyer and he is his very best friend who will be the best to help him.
In china,people always believe their acquaintance rather than professional person due to their relationship when american always ask professional person for help.
Why doesn’t John defend Xu Datong in the hearing? What can you learn from this?
Because he thinks Xu Datong cheat him and do child abuse.what`s more,he disagrees that GuaSha is a medical treatment. Cultural difference may brings huge divergence to people and hurt someone`s body and mind. Last but not least,we must take actions to propagate our culture.

Therefore they want to stay young because youth stands for hope and energy, they do not like to grow old because they will not gain honor, respect or attention as old people .
